The following are listed according to level of difficulty:
Level 1 (preliminary):
Test 1Background information
: Test 1 was established by the Danish Language Testing Consortium and certifies the holder as possessing basic language skills. Candidates should be able to communicate in Danish in a limited number of everyday situations. The test comprises four sections that must be passed separately i.e. reading, writing, listening and speaking.Test Sites / Results / Dates: Students are awarded either a pass or a fail, or graded on a scale between 1 and 13 (passing grade is 6). Results are available within three weeks and examinations are held twice yearly.

The European Language Certificates - Dansk (A2)
Background information: The Dansk - European Language Certificate is part of The European Language Certificates scheme established by the German Adult Education Association. It is offered in all member organisations of the International Certificate Conference (ICC) and in licensed centres by the WBT Further Education Test Systems. The ICC is an international association of European adult education organisations. The European Language Certificates are available at three levels i.e. A2, B1, B2. Examinations at the lowest level - A2 - are currently available in 10 languages, including Danish.
Test Sites / Results / Dates: This test may be taken at all language centres run by ICC (International Certificate Conference) members in Europe. The European Language Certificates are internationally recognized. Information about results and exam dates can be obtained by calling +49-69-956246-0.

Level 2 (elementary):
Test 2
Background information: Test 2 certifies the holder as possessing intermediate language skills. Candidates attempting this exam should be capable of communicating in a variety of everyday situations. The test comprises four sections that must be passed separately i.e. reading, writing, listening and speaking.
Test Sites / Results / Dates: Students are awarded either a pass or a fail, or graded on a scale between 1 and 13 (passing grade is 6). Results are available within three weeks after the examination and examinations are held twice yearly.

Level 4 (advanced intermediate):
Danskprøve 2
Background information: The Danskprøve 2 was established by the Danish Language Testing Consortium (DLTC) and is an examination at an advanced level. It is accepted as a language entrance requirement in Danish universities. The test comprises four sections that must be passed separately i.e. reading, writing, listening and speaking.
Students are awarded either a pass or a fail and results are available within three weeks after the examination (examinations are held twice yearly).
Examinations are held twice yearly.
